Free Parent and Toddler Playgroup

Third Friday of every month 9:30-11:00am.

Parent attends playgroup with their 18-36 month old child. Interact with your child in our beautifully prepared Montessori toddler environment. Meet other parents and discuss parenting topics with support from a certified Montessori teacher. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Parent and Infant Class

Friday mornings 9:30-11:00 am.

Parents attend class with their infant for Parent education and guided play with their baby. Learn fun ways to incorporate scientific knowledge of child development into playtime and day to day interactions with your baby. For infants six months or younger.

Sample Topics:

• Overview of language development and how to support it in the home setting.
• Study of motor development and how it can best be aided in the home environment.
• How to create an enriching home environment on a low budget.
• The importance of art and music in the first three years and how to incorporate them into daily life.
• The natural approach to guiding your child’s toileting independence.
• Why the best developmental toys are inexpensive and simple to make.

Cost: $30 for 3 week session. Scholarships are available.

Prenatal Consultations

Meet with certified Montessori Assistant to Infancy and learn how to prepare yourself for the birth of your child. Explore the importance of the first nine months of your baby’s life and develop a plan for preparing your home environment for your baby.

Cost: $20.00 per hour.
